My Present Wishlist

The following is my present Wishlist
  1. Leica SF26 Flash
  2. Gitzo GM3551 6X Carbon Fiber Monopod Series 3 ??? :)
Leica SF26
The above list sometimes grows and sometimes shrinks. The main thing is that I have decided on the monopod to get: The Gitzo GM3551.  It comes with excellent reviews and in six sections.  Maximum height is 61" and minimum is 16.5", which is very easy to carry. With this monopod, I can use my RRS BH-30 ball-head. Therefore, I do not need to purchase another one. The only question remaining is: "Why do I need a monopod?" Because, it is nice to have one. On the other hand, I know what to get if I ever need a monopod. :) In other words, I do not have a wishlist :)

My Present Photographic Equipment

My Cameras and lenses have undergone a complete and radical change since my last post regarding this subject.  I decided to go light with the camera and lenses.  Therefore I sold all my heavy equipment. My Photo Equipment is (Please press the "Equipment" tab:)

I got the Tamron 35mm and 85mm f/1.8 because they have VC (Vibration Control or VR.) For a 1.8 prime with VR, it is like shooting at f/.95 with the DOF of 1.8 and not the razor sharp .95.  I can shoot with just the Moonlight with those two lenses. However, they are heavier than the Nikon counterpart.

My First Post in a Couple of Years

I have not posted to my blog for some time.  I am very aware that I might be the only person reading my "electronic diary." However, I will use it as a reference for other websites that I participate. Finally, this past year, I went on vacation or a photo safari of my favorite city: Washington DC.  I took my Nikon D750 with the 18-35, 24-85, 20mm f/1.8, 35mm f/1.8, and 85mm f/1.8. I took ~ 6,500 photos of which I kept ~ 600.  I uploaded them to my Photo website: Washington DC .
